The objective of the Network + Professional Program is to prepare individuals to become entry-level computer network technicians. The curriculum focuses on building, maintaining and troubleshooting basic physical networking issues. After completion of the program, graduates will possess the knowledge and skills necessary to seek employment in a variety of entry-level, supporting network administration positions.
This course teaches students the skills and knowledge necessary to help prepare them to take the CompTIA Network+ certification exam. The Network+ Professional Program teaches the most current and most commonly used networking technologies. It also introduces the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) reference model, among other underlying concepts of data networking and the protocols that operate at the various model layers. Upon successful program completionm graduates will possess the basic knowledge and skills needed to work as a computer networking professional.
